Viola Clark Mishler, 95

Viola Clark Mishler, 95, of Middleburg, FL passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021.  She was born and raised on Thunder Road in Middleburg to the late William O Clark and Mamie Clark.  She spent much of her time volunteering at First Baptist Church of Middleburg in many capacities.  Viola could be found working with the Agape House, the bereavement ministry, as well as serving dinner on Wednesday evenings.  She also enjoyed traveling to the Amish Country in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as well as visiting the mountains in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  You could also find her helping at the polls with the Supervisor of Elections office in Clay County.  Viola loved flowers and gardening, but most importantly, her family.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. 

Viola was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert “Bob” Mishler; daughter, Ruth Ann Fountain; two brothers, Lloyd Clark and Johnny Howard; sister, Mary Francis Silcox; and grandson, Josh Fountain.  She is survived by her son, George Fountain (Ann); daughter, Robin Earls (Chip); six grandchildren, Matt Fountain (Jaimie), Jason Brown (Cynthia), Brittany Earls (Jonathan), Tiffany Earls, Nathaniel Earls, and Daniel Earls (Alyssa); and seven great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Kinsley, Kelly, Jenna, Sophia, Remington, and Silvia. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church of Middleburg, 2645 Blanding Blvd., Middleburg, FL 32068.  Burial will follow in Black Creek Baptist Cemetery, 3904 FL-16, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Viola’s memory to Haven Hospice, https://beyourhaven.org/donate
