Stanley “Bear” Russell Quintern, 40

Stanley “Bear” Russell Quintern, 40, of Middleburg, FL passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020.  Mr. Quintern was born and raised in Jacksonville, and moved to Middleburg just two years ago.  Nobody knows Stanley, but everyone knows “Bear”; a kind person who opened his home to anyone that needed help.  He was a pipe foreman in underground utilities for Superior Construction for the past 12 years with a total of 20 plus years in the trade.  Bear enjoyed his motorcycle, cars, and shooting things with his guns.  He leaves behind his family, friends, and  furry family member,  Rowdy.

Mr. Quintern is survived by his wife and Jr. High sweetheart, Sandra Quintern, children, Catherine Hope (Matt)  and Katie Quintern, brother, Jesse Williams, sister, Nicole Zakowski, two grandchildren, Matthew and McKinleigh and one expected grandson, Abel.  His mother-in-law, Patti Lynn and the Griffin family have had a special place in his life for many years.

A Celebration of Bear’s life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest, with a gathering at his home to follow.
