Sarrah Eleene Daymon, 87, of Middleburg, FL passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024.  Eleene was born June 27, 1936 in Toombs County, GA to the late James Curtis and Maxie Osborne.  She moved to Clay County in 1980 from the Jacksonville area where she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School.  A member of Black Pond Baptist Church for over 40 years, Eleene’s faith was an important part of her life.  She and her husband, Clarence Daymon, started Daymon Well Drilling in the late 1960s.

Eleene was known as “Nanny” and was a grandma to everyone.  She loved to do crafts and sewed clothes for all her children.  She never met a stranger and enjoyed taking care of everyone.  More than anything, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Eleene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clarence Daymon.  She is survived by her children, Eddie Bowers (Lanie), Jamie Hash, Laurie Gilbert, Allen Daymon (Tammy) and stepdaughter, Brenda Joy Patterson (John); 13 grandchildren, Ebbie, Chris, Kyle, Katie, Randy, Luke, Lilly, Rayla, Alisha, Eli, Isaiah, Jenny, and John Paul; as well as 22 great-grandchildren; also two brothers, Charles Osborne (Jerry), and Jimmy Osborne; and one sister, Debbie Loos and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00am at Black Pond Baptist Church with Brother Jason Brown, Brother Daniel Loos and Brother Charlie Hunt officiating.  Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00am prior to services.  Burial will follow in Black Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.
