Ruth Elaine McInnis Chapman, 89

Ruth Elaine McInnis Chapman, 89 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017.  Mrs. Chapman was born in Bethel, Maine and moved to Green Cove Springs in 1978.  While in Maine, she helped her husband, the late Phil Chapman with his TV repair business.  Since moving to Florida, she has enjoyed the sun, and taking care of children in her home as well as caring for her grandchildren.  She attended Russell Baptist Church.

Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by her son, Lester Paradis, daughter, Cindy Self and two brothers, Kenneth and Donnie McInnis.  She is survived by her children, Brian Paradis, Michael Paradis, Alecia Barksdale, Jan Carver, and Phil “Gus” Chapman, II, sister, Lois Howe, 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2017 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Rev. Ron Baker officiating.
