Robert Charles “Bob” Shuey, 68

Robert Charles “Bob” Shuey, 68, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020.  Bob was born in Washington, D.C. to the late Jeanne and Jack Shuey.  After a career spanning over 40 years with the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, Bob moved to Green Cove Springs.  He enjoyed spending his time volunteering at the Early Florida Village, with the Clay County Sherriff’s Office VIPS, and restoring a 1930 Ford Model A.  Bob used the Model A in multiple parades.  He was always helping his co-workers, friends and neighbors.  If there was a project going on in the neighborhood, Bob was there to lend a hand.  He was a devoted father and husband.

Mr. Shuey was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, MaryJane Toepper.  He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marjorie Shuey; his daughter, Lisa Shuey; a brother, Jack Shuey, Jr. (Carolyn); nieces, Susan Beasley (Michael) and Llarna Burnett; nephew, Bryan Burnett; great nieces, Natalie and Kaitlyn; cousin, Amy Stirman; and his “soul brother”, Veric Brown.
