Rebecca Anne “Becca” Fox, 24

Rebecca Anne “Becca” Fox, 24, of Green Cove Springs, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016.  Becca was born in Meridian, Mississippi and later moved to Clay County in 1995.  Becca graduated from Middleburg High School in 2011 and was briefly employed at McDonald’s as a cashier.  She was well-known in Middleburg and also attended First Baptist Church of Middleburg.   Ms. Fox was always laughing and especially enjoyed telling the worst jokes, or “popsicle stick jokes” as her family calls them.  Becca was very loving and friendly, a friend to everyone no matter what.  She struggled at times with poor health, but fought so hard every time she was not well.  Her dog, Isabella, was a constant companion. 

Becca is preceded in death by her father, Donald Fox.  Survivors include her mother and step-father, Joann Fox-Pedley and Jeff Pedley; sister, Elizabeth “Ellie” (Joshua)  Abeles; half-brothers, Stephon Fox and Jessie Fox; niece, Dahlia Abeles; and her boyfriend, Adam Williams. 

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 1pm in the chapel at Russell Haven of Rest with Pastor Todd Jones officiating.
