Matthew Christian Husted, 36

Matthew Christian Husted, 36, of Orange Park, Fla., passed away Tuesday, April 2.  He was born July 19, 1982 in Adak, Alaska.

Matthew was a 2000 graduate of Orange Park High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from Jacksonville University.  He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Matt was a kind and sensitive person who loved everyone and was loved by all.  He loved animals especially his cat, Ozzy.  He loved baseball, especially the Los Angeles Dodgers, and was a fan of college basketball.

He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Kristi Husted and his aunt, Patricia Bruce.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 6551 Argyle Forest Blvd., Jacksonville with Pastor Newlin Schaefer officiating.  Private burial will be held at Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
