Margaret Ann “Margi” Peterson, 78

Margaret Ann “Margi” Peterson, 78 of Jacksonville, FL passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026.  Margi was born in Canby, Minnesota to the late Marvin and Wilma Ufken Erdman and spent most of her life in Minnesota before moving to Florida in 1998.  While in New London, MN, she worked in the school system in administration.  She had a love for animals and never wanted to see a cat or dog go hungry.

Margi was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Wilma Erdman and her step-father Clifford Anderson, her son, Quinn Peterson and her sister, Marilyn Helmbolt.  She is survived by her son, Ryan (Karon) Peterson, brother, Dallas (Mary) Erdman, and grandson, Kyle (Jelisse) Peterson.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 28, 2026 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with burial to follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
