Laurie Beitel, 65

Laurie Beitel, 65 of Middleburg, FL passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026.  Laurie was born in Doylestown, PA to the late Maurice Landy and Barbara McCullough Bumgardner and moved to Clay County 8 years ago from Birdsboro, PA.  She worked with WW Gay for the past 3 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Middleburg.  Camping and fishing were a couple things Laurie enjoyed doing as well as being with family and friends.

Mrs. Beitel is survived by her husband of 32 years, Dave Beitel, sons, David Sieb and Brian Sieb, and her brother, Jim (Dot) Bumgardner.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 4, 2026 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Estevez officiating.  Burial will follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 AM prior to services on Friday.
