Kristofer “Kris” Thomas Colbert, 29

Kristofer “Kris” Thomas Colbert, 29 of Lake City, FL passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.  Kris was born in Daytona Beach, FL and moved to Clay County at age 11.  He attended Lake Asbury Middle School and graduated from Clay High School.  Following graduation, Kris served 5 years in the US Army, worked as a correctional officer in Lake City and was currently working with Rountree-Moore Kia in Lake City.  Spending time with friends, riding in the truck and on 4-wheelers were just a few things Kris enjoyed.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Colbert is survived by his parents, John (Carrie) Colbert and Beverlee Colbert, sisters, Ashlee Colbert and Sarah Couture, niece, Skylar and nephew, Wyatt.

A Celebration of Life for Kris will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2020 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with a visitation with the family from 10-11:00 AM prior to services.
