Kenneth “Ken” Lee Anderson, 71

Kenneth “Ken” Lee Anderson, 71 of Middleburg, FL passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019.  Ken was born to the late Fredrick and Barbara Porter in Fort Myers, Florida and moved to Middleburg 40 years ago after being stationed at NAS Jacksonville.  After high school, Ken served in the USMC for 7 years before his honorable discharge.  He also obtained a degree in Computer Science from UNF.

It is said that Ken didn’t know a stranger; his ability to visit and talk with anyone created a friendship with everyone near him.  His humor and jokes always resulted in a good laugh.  However, spending time with his family was dear to his heart, whether fishing, gardening, boating, teaching his grandchildren about gun safety at the range or just picking weeds, Ken was able to fully enjoy his life.  He or “Andy Pandy” as he was affectionly called, will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Anderson and is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diana Jean Anderson, daughters, Amanda (Mark) Sweet and Jennifer (Shawn) LaChance, brother, Mike Anderson, sister, Freya Mroczkowski, grandchildren, Brandon, Jaden, Mark, Wilson, London and Samantha and two great grandsons, Easton and Oliver.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2019 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Rev. Tina Sweet officiating.  Military Honors will be performed by the USMC Honor Guard.
