Kenneth Don Taylor, 81

Kenneth Don Taylor, 81 of Fleming Island, FL passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019.  Mr. Taylor was born in Memphis, Texas and moved to Florida last year from Counce, Tennessee where he lived for 15 years.  He served during the Vietnam War in both the USMC and the US Army for a total of 10 years and was a member of the American Legion Post 28 in Savannah, TN.  Kenneth retired from Blevins Inc. after 15 years working as a manager of the warehouse.  While living in Tennessee, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Counce and after moving to Florida, he joined Hibernia Baptist in Fleming Island.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 28 years, Denise Taylor, five sons, Cor (Jantine) den Toom, Rob (Birgit) den Toom, Mark (Shellene) Taylor, John (Chris) McHone, and James McHone, brother, Troy (Minerva) Taylor, eleven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, May 19, 2019 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with burial in Jacksonville National Cemetery 1:30 PM Monday, May 20, 2019.  Visitation with the family will be from 2-3:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
