John Robert “Bobby” Stephenson, 53

John Robert “Bobby” Stephenson, 53 of Middleburg, FL passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017. Bobby was born in Tampa, FL and moved to Middleburg 18 years ago from Jacksonville, FL.  He retired from the US Navy after 20 years and was employed with Seminole Electric for the past 12 years.  He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who loved the outdoors and could fix anything.

Mr. Stephenson was preceded in death by his parents, James Raymond “Steve” Stephenson and Judy Brady Stephenson, and a brother, Steve.  Bobby is survived by his wife of 32 years, Bridget Stephenson, children, Eric (Brittney) Stephenson and Ashley (Greg) Harrison, brothers, Philip McCullers and Tim Stephenson, grandchildren, Ally and Jaxon, several nieces and nephews, Tony, Angela, Cory, Taylor, Josh, Katelyn, Jonathan and Connor.

Memorial Services will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with US Navy honors following on the East Lawn. Visitation with the family will be from 5-6:00 PM Tuesday prior to services.  Chaplain Reese Edwards will be officiating.
