Jodi Stevens Douglas, 53
Jodi Stevens Douglas, 53, passed away at her home on January 8, 2026 after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her brother, Dean Stevens. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Joe Douglas, son Josh Douglas, stepdaughter Brooke Bozek and husband, Mickey Bozek, and five grandchildren, her mother and stepfather, Judy and Ken Sarbu, father and stepmother, Tommy and Susan Stevens, and many extended family members and friends.
Jodi was born on January 10, 1972, at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from Wolfson High School and earned her BA degree in nutrition and dietetics from the University of Florida. Having completed a nutrition internship at the State of Arizona WIC program, she spent two years working for the State of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Jodi returned to NE Florida in 2005 and joined the Food and Nutrition team for the St. John’s County School District.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 17th, at Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home Chapel. A reception for family and friends to follow after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made through: Venmo Judy-Sarbu in memory of Jodi. The memorials will be used as a scholarship fund for students attending St. John’s County Schools.
