Jim K. Yarbrough, 89

Jim K. Yarbrough, 89 of Middleburg, FL, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017. Mr. Yarbrough was born in Birmingham, Alabama and moved to Clay County 17 years ago.  He served in the US Army and retired from the US Post Office as an architectural engineer after 33 years.  Since retirement, Jim has enjoyed belonging to the Model Airplane Club and working with Campers for Missions building church throughout the United States.  He was a past deacon and very active in each church he was a member and was a current member of Russell Baptist Church.

Mr. Yarbrough was preceded in death by his son, Bill Yarbrough and is survived by his wife of 69 years, Della Yarbrough, daughter, Kathy (David) Burton, daughter-in-law, Jane Yarbrough, two grandchildren, Katie and Josh and two great grandchildren, Madison and Blake.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in Russell Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Baker officiating. Burial will follow with US Army honors in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the church 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday.
