Jessie Lee Coger, 63

Jessie Lee Coger, 63 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Friday, November 25, 2022.  Jessie was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Hershel and Carol Coger.  He spent his time in Florida living in the Keys, Tampa and Jacksonville and had been a resident of Green Cove Springs for the past year.  His relationship with his Lord, Jesus Christ, was important and the reason he founded and pastored Hope for the Heart Ministry while living in Tampa.  Jessie never met a stranger and was always visiting with people even while just standing in a line.  He loved to dance, make walking sticks, and his rescue dog “Lucy Lou”.

Mr. Coger was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Coger and is survived by his wife, Stacy Coger, children, Justin (Tami) Coger, Daniel (Meghan) Coger, Rush Miller, Jessica Coger, Skye (Kyle) Clark, and Patricia (Chazz) Miller, sisters, Jackie Payne and Carrie (Mitch) Noatch, and eleven grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in the Moosehaven Chapel of Orange Park with Rev. Helen Taylor officiating.
