Jerry William Scally, 74

Jerry William Scally, 74 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, August 18, 2025.  Jerry was born in Rochester, NY to the late Gerald and Mary Scally.  He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where he lettered in several sports while attending high school.  Following high school, Jerry attended and graduated Jacksonville University on a baseball scholarship.

After graduation, Mr. Scally moved to New Smyrna and founded Aaron Group which later he moved to Jacksonville in 1996.  Jerry enjoyed the water and held a captain’s license in sailing, as well spending time fishing and hunting.  Over the years, Jerry had a need to learn more about diesel mechanics so he learned and gained his Associate Degree in Diesel Mechanics.

Mr. Scally was preceded in death by his brother, James Scally and is survived by his wife, Christine Scally,  sons, Cameron (Sam) Taylor and Payton (Roni) Taylor, brothers David Scally and Kevin (Amy) Scally, grandchildren, Braylon, Emma, McKayla, and Blake.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 22, 2025 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home with burial to follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until services begin on Friday.
