Jennifer Susan Nye, 54

Jennifer Susan Nye, 54 of Jacksonville, FL passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017. Jennifer was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania and moved to Jacksonville in 1973 from Rhode Island.  She was a member of the Girl Scouts and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1981.  Following graduation, she worked at the Cedar Hills Movie Theater then began working with Stericyle Answering Service before her illness forced retirement.  Jennifer enjoyed cooking, playing the guitar, and teaching the board game “Sorry” to her nieces and nephews (cutthroat style).

Jennifer was married to Sidney Briscoe, and is also survived by her mother Sarah Nye, brother, Doug (Catherine) Nye, sisters, Pam (Bob Crognale) Ware and Beverly (Sam) Drury, aunt, Suzanne Nye and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the residence of her mother.
