Jennifer M. Eccleston, 47
Jennifer Marotta Eccleston, age 47, passed away on December 29, 2019, after a long fight with breast cancer. She was born on January 25, 1972, in Smithtown, New York to Leonard and Frances Marotta. She married the love of her life, John Matthew Eccleston, on October 26, 1996.
Jennifer loved people and she was known for her groundbreaking miming skills, lovely hospitality, delicious gluten-free meals, talented crafting, and quilting, being an enthusiastic but not very successful entrepreneur, her passion for 80’s music and perhaps most importantly, her moves on the dance floor.
She worked as a legal secretary before becoming a mom to Blake, Emily, and Caroline. Being a mother suited Jennifer well and she devoted herself to her family and to others.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Matt, children Blake, Emily, and Caroline; mother, Fran Forehand (Hezzie), Brothers Nick (Debbie), Joseph, and Lenny (Jayne).
All of these she loved and touched deeply because of her faith in Jesus Christ.
The family will accept visitors on Thursday, January 2, 2020, from 5 pm – 7 pm at the Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home located at 2335 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
Please join us in celebrating her life on Friday, January 3, 2020, at 2 pm, at Russell Baptist Church located at 2299 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043. Stephen Spinnenweber, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church (PCA) will be officiating. The family invites you to stay and enjoy a fellowship meal after the funeral at the church.
