Jennie Lou Fansler, 76

Jennie Lou Fansler, 76, of Green Cove Springs, FL, went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2025. Born in Fort Wayne, IN to Edwin and Jean Ezzelle.  Jennie graduated from North Side High School in 1966 and married her high school sweetheart, Bruce. She worked for Super Market Service Corporation in Management for five years. She moved to Muncie, IN in 1983, where raised her cherished children on the family farm. In 1999 the family relocated to Green Cove Springs, FL, where Jennie cared for her beloved daughter, grandchildren, and eventually great grandchildren. She worked with family members at Guardian Cable Systems and LA Video. She loved working in the garden, going to the beach and fishing with her husband Bruce. 

Known for her generosity and dedication to family, Jennie welcomed loved ones into her home, creating strong family bonds. Jennie truly enjoyed and never stopped actively being a Mom and a Grandma. She always went above and beyond, helping with school work, craft projects, encouraging one another, and sorting out life’s challenges. She was kind, loving, gentle, smart, funny, and giving. She attended Russell Baptist Church. She loved Jesus! Mom / Grandma you are, and will always be missed.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Ezzelle and Jean Berlin Ezzelle; her loving husband, Bruce Fansler; and one brother, Edwin Ezzelle.  She is survived by her son, Shane Fansler (Shawnnie); her daughter, Shalon Yelkin; one brother, David Ezzelle (Judy); one sister, Shalon Junk (Richard); six grandchildren, Leya Yelkin (Corey Tucker), Jessica Turner (Jeff), Austin Yelkin, Brittani Fogleman (David), Preston Fansler (Haley Morris), and Leighland Fansler (Victoria); as well as twelve great-grandchildren, Jason Yelkin, Dahlia Mayerlend, Haydn Mayerlend, Vivian Turner, Gabby Yelkin, Noelle Yelkin, Delilah Duffey, Willow Fogleman, Trevor Fogleman, Adilynn Fogleman, Charlotte Fansler and Carter Lynn Fansler.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
