Janet Marie Lehman-Smith, 63

Janet Marie Lehman-Smith, 63 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020.  Janet was born on August 4th, 1957 in La Porte, Indiana to the late Bobby Joe Lehman and late Rosalie Orman. She was known by so many in her years. Those of some that became as close as family over their lifetime. Janet held so much love for all of her family. Whether they got along or not (lol), she held them all so close to her heart. Those that know her know that Janet speaks her mind, didn’t hold her tongue with anyone. Janet’s children and grandchildren mean the world to her. & In her free time she loved to binge watch “her shows” and solve crossword puzzles (of which she kept a collection of).

As crazy as she could be, Janet will for sure, be very missed by so many.

Janet is preceded in death by her Son (with husband Robert Smith Jr.)- Robert Lee Smith III, Parents- Bobby Joe and Mary Jo Lehman, Maternal Mother-Rosalie(Mrozinski) Orman, her nephews- Brandon  Sneed and Steven James Lehman.

Janet is survived by her Husband: Robert “Bobby” Smith Jr., Son: Norman “Mitchy” McLeese, Daughter-in-Law: Melissa Jones, and  5 Total Grandchildren: (“BobbyLee”&Melissa)Haley Smith, Kristina Smith and Robert “Bobby” Smith IV of LaPorte Indiana and (“Mitchy”&Jenn) Lincoln and Elijah McLeese of Goshen Indiana. Brothers: Larry Lehman, of Michigan City Indiana, Bill (Kim) Lehman of St. Clair Missouri, Robert (Linda) Lehman of LaPorte Indiana, Norman (Lainie) Lehman of LaPorte, Indiana, Matt (Jackie) Lehman of LaPorte Indiana, Don Mansfield of Fish Lake Indiana, Doug Mansfield of Michigan City Indiana and Jeff Cashman of Benton Harbor Michigan. Sisters: Lisa Herrell, Lori Herrell, and Jodi(Milan) Lehman, Sister-in-law:  Sue Lehman of Michigan City Indiana. Many nieces and nephews including Melissa”Missy” Lehman and Micha  el Jo  Lehman along with many many great nieces and nephews.
