James “Jim” Allen Michael, 74 of Orange Park, FL passed away Friday, October 8, 2021. Jim was born in Rolla, Missouri and grew up in Kentucky. He served in the US Air Force for 6 years as an aircraft mechanic at a variety of locations, including Clark Air Force Base, Philippines, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Upon separation from the U.S. Air Force, Jim earned his college degree and followed his dream to own his own aircraft maintenance business eventually establishing Plane Doctors Inc, and American Aviation, Inc. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed golf, fishing, diving, piloting, and being grandpa to his six grandchildren, Lesley, Jasmine, Christian, James, Christian, and Jack.
Mr. Michael is survived by his wife, Ruby Michael, children, Stephen (Angie) Michael, Maria Edwards, and Rose Michael, brother, Harold Michael and his grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held noon Saturday, October 16, 2021 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with a time of visitation beginning at 11:00 am on Saturday.
