James H. “Buddy” Batton, 73

James H. “Buddy” Batton, 73 of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021.  Buddy was a lifelong resident of Green Cove Springs and moved to Live Oak from Starke in 2011.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force, worked as a carpenter in construction, did some farming and raised cattle over the years.

Mr. Batton is survived by his wife of 45 years, Peggy Batton, sons, Johnnie (Christina) Batton and David (Jessica) Batton, daughter, Gina (Kyle) Corbitt, brothers, Danny Batton, Dale Batton and Gary Batton, sister, Joyce Register, father-in-law, Fred Stigler, sister-in-law, Nancy Born (Davie Born), grandchildren, Donnie Batton (passed away 2013), Ashley Daughtery, Danyel Shields, Andrew Batton, Mackenzi Batton, Chloe Corbitt, Laila Batton, Kinlee Corbitt, and Emery Batton and several great grandchildren and extended family.

Funeral Services will be held at a later date.
