Herman Edwin Hansen, 74, of Middleburg, FL passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Herman was born in Jacksonville, FL to parents Charles and Ivy Shaw Hansen. Herman lived a fulfilling life, where he was a part of many organizations throughout his life. He was the first Eagle Scout of Troop 398, he was a brotherhood member of the order of the Arrow (Boy Scouts of America honor society), In the Army National Guard from July 1967 until 1976 and then he joined the Air National Guard from 1978 until 1990. Herman has a lengthy career working at Anheuser-Busch, retiring after 25 years, he then continued to working on the maintenance team until 2023, giving a total of 43 years to the company. Herman had many things he enjoyed doing during his time off, he said his big love was bass fishing and he enjoyed general mechanical work. Herman was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Herman was proceeded in death by his parents Charles Hansen and Ivy Shaw Hansen, and his son, Edward Dwayne Hansen.

He is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Hansen; daughter, Shelley (Lee) Daniel; Tina Stubblefield, significant other of the late Edward Hansen; brother, Marvin Hansen; sister, Irene Jackson (George) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, February 16, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Middleburg. A time of visitation with the family will be an hour prior to services at 10AM.
