From the moment my dad met me I had him wrapped around my finger, we had a bond like no other! Watching other little girls with their dads I remember all the things he taught me, like how no matter what he’d be there… every ballet recital, every soccer game, there dad was in the front my biggest cheerleader! His humor goes unmatched and I always find myself saying things only he would understand. In my heart I know nothing will fill the void of losing a love like his, he was passionate in everything family oriented and never missed a beat when it came to protecting me and my siblings. As a child I struggled with behavioral issues but like everything else I had someone beside me to tell me it was okay and that I’d get better, because that’s who my dad was. He taught me to fish, he taught me respect, and most Importantly he taught me how a man should live his family. Dad, to you I say thank you for choosing me each and every day, I wasn’t the easiest kid and I’m very grateful for you. Proud to call you my dad and I vow to protect mom the way you used to, she’s in good hands.
