Edward L. Hadsock, 59

Edward “Skip” Labron Hadsock, 59, of Green Cove Springs, Fl, peacefully passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville to Wanda Patton  and Elias Edward Hadsock.

At 17, his resilience and resolute attitude guided him through 21 years of honorable service to his country as a combat engineer and special forces green beret and ranger in the United States Army, earning a bronze star for his merits during Operation Desert Storm among many other decorated accolades throughout his career.

Larger than life, he was always in the mood to make those around him laugh and never mistaken was his absolute dedication and love for his children: “Double sky.”

Edward was preceded in death and is now reunited with his wife, Yong Ye Yun. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Patton Moncrief ; his sisters, Lajuana and Anna; and his children, Aaron and Kristina.
