Delphine Jean Rodgers, 73

Delphine Jean Rodgers, 73 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026.  She was born in Karlstad, Minnesota to the late Harley and Betty  Clark. After growing up in Minnesota, Delphine married Richard Wickman and travelled throughout the United States working for various carnivals.

After moving to Zephyrhills, FL for a few years, Delphine then moved to Jacksonville and married Emmett Rodgers. She has been a resident of Clay County for the past 40 years and worked for the Clay County School Board for a brief time.

Delphine enjoyed the sun, whether it was boating or swimming. She also had a hard time passing up a garage sale and would call on her close friend Linda Outtin to help find the deals.

Mrs. Rodgers was preceded in death by her sister, Janelle Wahab and is survived by her children, Travis (Leah) Wickman, Amy (Cory) Smith and Tracy (Robert) Clift, brothers, Doug and Arnie Clark, sister, Faye Klemetson, and 7 grandchildren, Isabella, Brooke, Brynlee, Robert Jr., Jeremiah, Ansley and Allie.

A Celebration of Delphine’s life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July24, 2026 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Pastor Nathan Freeman officiating.
