Della Merle Yarbrough, 91

Della Merle Yarbrough, 91, entered the loving arms of her Savior during the evening hours of Thursday, May 25, 2023.   Formally of Foley, AL.  Della and Jim moved to Middleburg, FL, to be closer to her daughter.  She was retired from being a church secretary and was most proud of being called “Mimi” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Della loved to sew and read.  She was a member of Russell Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs, FL.

She leaves her daughter, Kathy Burton and her husband David of Middleburg, FL; her granddaughter, Katie Jones and her husband Dwayne of Maggie Valley, NC; her grandson, Josh Burton and his wife Maggie of Sarasota, FL; her great granddaughter, Madi Burton of Ashville, NC; and her great grand-daughter, Blake Burton of Sarasota; a daughter-in-law, Jane Yarbrough McCord and her husband Randy of Byhalia, MS; and a brother, Charles Alton Tidwell of Columbiana, AL.

Della leaves us all with memories of laughter from her stories she would tell.  She and Jim loved to travel in their RV and found their ministry later in life by being involved in Campers on Missions.  Her smile and sweet spirit will be missed.
