David Conrad “Dave” Finnigan, 63

David Conrad “Dave” Finnigan, 63, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, September 14, 2026.  Born in Paterson, NJ to the late Thomas Finnigan and Arlene Birchenough Finnigan, Dave enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country for 26 years before retiring.  His service took him to many places before settling in Northeast Florida 25 years ago.  Dave earned many medals and awards during his time in the Navy, such as the national defense service medal, global war on terrorism service medal, and commendation medals.

The last few years, Dave worked as a manager at JSC.  He loved relaxing at home in his pool, working in the yard and could fix anything.  Dave enjoyed cooking and sharing his delicious “creations” as he called them. Most of all, Dave was a good man.  He was a caring and devoted husband, and good father, and a friend to all. 

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Arlene Finnigan; as well as his brothers, Ed Finnigan and Tom Finnigan.  He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lisa Finnigan; one son, David Finnigan (Alicia); one sister, Sue Finnigan Laratta; and many other extended family members. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 10am in the chapel at Russell Haven of Rest with Patrick Martin officiating.  Full military honors will be rendered.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Dave’s memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, https://dogood.t2t.org/give/.
