Daric Edward Elliott, 50

Daric Edward Elliott, 50 of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022. He was born in Miami Beach, Florida to parents Elmer B. Elliott Jr. and Marcella (Marci) Wietchy Elliott . Daric lived most of his life in Florida, but also lived in Gadsden and Birmingham, Alabama for a period of time. Daric had a great love for history and serving his country and community. He was a veteran who served for 4 years in the United States Army. He later graduated from the Kenneth Bragg Police Academy in Tavares, FL, and served as an officer with the Sanford Police Department. Daric served in many different departments throughout his career, including US Customs and Border Patrol. He was currently working with the (USCIS) United States Citizenship and Immigration Services as an Adjudications Officer. Daric was passionate about his service, but his true passion was his four children and spending as much time as possible with them. He also had a love for all things sports and animals and loved to share that passion with his children. Daric was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Daric was preceded in death by his father, Elmer B. Elliott Jr. He is survived by his mother, Marcella (Marci) Elliott; former wife, Lauree Elliott; daughters, Genevieve Elliott and Vivienne Elliott; and sons, Alexander Elliott and Benjamin Elliott.

A Requiem Mass will be held at 12:00 pm on January 29, 2022, with Fr. Michael Pendergraft officiating. Services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7190 Highway 17 South, Fleming Island, FL 32003.
