Cynthia Hammis, 57

Cynthia “Cindy” Hammis, 57, of Middleburg, FL passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017.  Cindy was born in Saginaw, Michigan and lived there until moving to Florida in 2013.  She was born to the late Louis Gerow and Judy Hammerbacher Gerow.  Her family describes her as a simple woman who loved and cherished her children and grandchildren.

Ms. Hammis was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kathy Price.  She is survived by her husband, Hank Carlson; sons, Christopher Hammis (Naomi Ramos) and Gary Hammis; daughters, Stacy Tomaszewski and Ashley (Chad) Hughes; brother, Michael Gerow; sisters, Violet Gerow and Tina Gable; eleven grandchildren, Sebastian, Tobias Gage, Elijah, Austin, Zach, Parker, McKenna, JJ, Jayden and Bentley; and mother in law, Margaret Carlson.
