Connie Sue Myers,

Connie Sue Myers, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025. Connie was born to the late Walter Rowe and Bunia Preston and grew up in Huntington, West Virginia. After
living in South Point, Ohio for a number of years, she moved to Florida in 1993. Following a career of 37 years she retired from CSX as a customer service representative. She was a member of CrossPointe Church of Fleming Island and heavily involved in church functions.

In 1993, Connie met her husband, Denny as both of them worked for CSX. After 3 years, they married on February 14, 1996. Together they travelled her dream trip to Hawaii as well as going to the mountains of Tennessee on several occasions. Connie made her house a home with her “apple décor”, porcelain dolls and crystal collections.

The holidays were always special to Connie. Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners with the whole family joining her in celebration. With everything in her life, she felt special when called
“Mamaw”, “Nana” and “Gigi” by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful lady and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Preston, and is survived by her husband, Denny Myers, children, Tonya (Dan) Ruggles, Dennis (Melissa) Myers, and Samantha (Todd) Vollrath, grandchildren, Jessica, Kaila, Avery, Mila, and Nolan, great grandchildren, Raylan, Mason, Maura, Emmy, and Julian.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at CrossPointe Church in Fleming Island with Dr. Ron Baker and Pastor Bill Clayton officiating. A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday prior to services. Burial will follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
