Clara Lorraine Thompson, 83

Clara Lorraine Thompson, 83 of Middleburg, FL, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019.  Mrs. Thompson was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Edward and Anna Louise Curry and moved to Middleburg, FL in 1973.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and being “Memaw” to her grandchildren.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Lonnie Thompson, her son, Ronald Thompson, six brothers and one sister.  She is survived by her children, Lonnie (Deborah) Thompson, Pam (Frank) McGurer, Sylvia (Fred) Westberry, and Tina (Jon) Cook, sister, Barbara Sanders, seven grandchildren, Jeff, Lori, Christie, Frankie, Curtis, Marcus, and Elizabeth, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 9, 2019 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Mr. Curtis Cook officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 10-11:00 AM on Saturday prior to services.
