Christine Louise Richardson, 61

Christine Louise Richardson, 61, of Middleburg, FL went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 21, 2020. Christine was born in Jacksonville, FL on February 17, 1959 to Harry H. Shinton and Frances Chappell Shinton.  Christine graduated from Edward H. White in June 1977 and played clarinet/bassoon in the marching/concert band.  Christine was a devoted wife and mother who loved to travel, going to the movies, participating in mission work/trips and spending time with her family at Walt Disney World.  Christine was employed with Prudential/Aetna for 28 years and was presently employed with Parallon (HCA) for the past 18 years.

Christine was a member of First Baptist Church Middleburg in Middleburg, FL and was active playing her clarinet in the Worship Choir & Orchestra at church and The Florida Worship Choir & Orchestra.

Christine is survived by her husband, Ray Richardson of Middleburg, FL; three children, Crystal Pappas (Matt) of Middleburg, FL; Daniel Richardson of Middleburg, FL; Seth Richardson (Sarah) of Middleburg, FL; brother, Harry F. Shinton (Teresa) of Toole, UT; granddaughters, Kate and Ella Pappas; along with several beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, June 25, 2020 in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church Middleburg, with Rev. Ralph Estevez, Rev. Jonathan Morrell, Rev. Randy Richardson and Rev. Bob Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow the service in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 10:00am to 11:00am in the Worship Center of First Baptist Middleburg.

Arrangements are under the care of Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery, Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2335 Sandridge Road, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
