Cheryl Renee “Sherry” Dabbelt, 33

Cheryl Renee “Sherry” Dabbelt, 33 of Middleburg, FL passed away Friday, August 3, 2018.  Sherry was born in Jacksonville, Florida and moved to Middleburg 20 years ago.  She was an employee of B&W Marine Construction, a job she loved.  Sherry had a contagious spirit and brought a smile to everyone she met.  She was a wonderfully strong mother; not only to her two children, but to many neighborhood children as well.  Sherry’s strength was proven two years ago; just two weeks before the birth of her youngest daughter Mindy, when she suddenly lost her fiancé Nick Wisor.  Sherry proved to be a rock for their two daughters Mindy and Nova.  Her generous spirit shone brightly in the way she led her life.  She loved the outdoors; from a young age catching crawfish in the creek, frogs on the banks, or any other critters our “Ellie Mae” could get her hands on.  A wonderful and loving person, a true original, She will be greatly missed by family and many, many friends.

Sherry is survived by her parents, Daniel Gene and Casey Ray Dabbelt, Sr., daughters, Nova Shyanne Wisor and Mindy Nichole Wisor, sister, Abbegail Dabbelt, brother, Daniel Gene (Heather Madrid) Dabbelt, Jr., nieces and nephews that loved her dearly, Isabella, Jonathan, Daniel, Triston, Savanna, Precious (PaiPai), Mike, and Mason, her in-laws, Bruce and Sheryl Wisor and a special child she called her own, Layla Parker and Nick’s brother, Chris Wisor.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 10, 2018 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with burial in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM on Friday.
