Chad Austin Newton, 37

Chad Austin Newton, 37, of Middleburg, FL passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026.  Chad was born in Orange Park, FL.  He worked in golf course turf and equipment maintenance all over the area for the last 20 years, most recently at Deercreek Country Club. Always willing to help a friend or stranger, Chad was a generous, service-oriented person.  Chad loved fishing, as well as working on cars and spending time with the friends and family he loved fiercely.  His two daughters were the most important thing in his life.

Chad is survived by his mother, Suzie Melton (Irvin); father, Tony Newton (Michelle); two daughters, Eleanor Newton and Elizabeth Newton; two brothers, Blake Newton (Ali) and Craig Newton; one sister, Kylee Shaw (Jeffrey); four nieces, Mackenzie Newton, Bailey Shaw, Adeline Shaw and Nita Newton; three nephews, Bryce Newton, Trevor Shaw, and Callen Shaw; as well as many extended family members.

A private family memorial service will be held.
