Captain Robert Mate, 85

Captain Robert Mate, 85 of Middleburg, FL passed away January 7, 2017. He was born in Rochester, NY and retired as a Panama Canal Pilot.

Captain Mate was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Mary Mate (nee Lawson) and is survived by his daughter Shannon Mate-Huaman and Son-in-law Kevin Huaman of Middleburg, FL. The Captain’s passing is grieved by his surviving relatives.

Interment was private.
