Emma Lou McClure, 68

Emma Lou McClure, 68, of Middleburg, FL passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026.  Emma was born in Hemingway, SC to the late Edward “Buck” Kennedy and Pearl Roberts Kennedy.  She moved to the area almost 30 years ago from South Carolina.  Her career was spent working in many grocery stores as a produce manager, including Albertson’s, Winn Dixie and the commissary at NASJAX.  Emma was a member of Lake Asbury Baptist Church.  Most important to Emma were her grandchildren.  After retiring three years ago, they became her whole life.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Pearl Roberts; and three sons, Kevin Palmer, Jason Palmer, and Dylan McClure.  She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Tim McClure; two sons, James Dalton McClure (Stacy) and Vincent Casey McClure; three brothers, Gene Kennedy, Chris Kennedy, and Danny Kennedy; three sisters, Brenda Gray, Mary Coble, and Wilma Carter; four grandchildren who call her “Mamaw”, Lilliana McClure, Eloise McClure, Preston McClure, and Fallon Weaver; one brother-in-law, Chuck McClure; and one sister-in-law, Bertha Wood.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 11:00am with James Younis officiating.
