Juanita Jenkins Wymola, 92, of Fleming Island, FL passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026.  She was born in the foothills of Kentucky and moved to the area in the early 70s.  Juanita was of the Catholic faith and a member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jacksonville.  She enjoyed gardening and nature and loved all animals.  Juanita was an outgoing woman who never met a stranger.  She survived many struggles and hardships in her life which made her a resilient and strong-willed person.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Wardie Jenkins and Ada Tracey Jenkins; her siblings; as well as her son, Frankie Wymola.  She is survived by her four daughters, Susan Schnell (Steve), Franceine Terry (Christopher), Celeste Oakes (Keith), and Millicente; six grandchildren, Christeine, Rachel, Patrick, Olivia, Carson and Mason; as well as two great-grandsons.

Juanita’s ashes will be interred in Texas next to her son, Frankie.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in her memory to Clay County Humane Society, https://https://www.clayhumane.org/donate.
