Carson Allen Farias, 14
Carson Allen Farias, 14, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Carson was born in Frederick, Maryland, to George Farias and Megan Farias Schrampf. Four years ago, he moved from Charles Town, West Virginia, to Lake Asbury, where he quickly made his mark, built countless friendships, and became loved by so many.
Carson loved spending his days fishing, riding with his friends, and making memories outdoors. One of his favorite traditions was catching fish for Tanner, the local heron who faithfully waited each day for Carson to come home and head down to the dock. Carson was adventurous, brave, and always had an awesome story to tell, including the time he caught a huge catfish with his bare hands while his dad recorded it. He had also recently discovered a love for golf and enjoyed learning the game with Dave.
He adored his big brother, Ayden, and looked up to him in every way. The bond between Carson and Ayden was built on love, loyalty, laughter, and brotherhood. His love for his siblings was deep, genuine, and beautiful.
Carson was known for his quick wit, playful spirit, and his gift for making everyone laugh. He never met a stranger. Whether someone was a lifelong friend or someone he had just met, Carson made them feel welcome, valued, and included. His smile was contagious, his heart was enormous, and he had a special way of bringing joy to everyone around him.
His great-grandfather, Joseph, whom Carson was proudly named after, was not only his hero but also his very best friend. Their special bond was one Carson treasured deeply.
Carson is survived by his loving mother, Megan Schrampf (Dave); his loving father, George Farias (Heather) his brothers, Ayden Farias and Bryson Schrampf; his sister, River Farias; his grandparents, John Elliott, Christa Rentzel, Jorge Farias, and Sheryl Wentzell; his aunt, Candace Martin; his uncles, Cody Elliott, Jose Farias, and Steven Farias; his great-grandparents, Joseph and Deborah Griffiths; along with many cousins, extended family members, and more friends than could ever be counted.
Though Carson’s time on earth was far too short, the love, laughter, kindness, and joy he shared will live on forever. His adventurous spirit, compassionate heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Russell Haven of Rest, with pastor Steve Hunter officiating. A celebration of life to follow for family and friends to honor and remember Carson.
