With heavy hearts, we announce the death, and honor the beautiful life, of Jaylen Wade Hill who passed away suddenly on May 26, 2026.
At just 16 years old, Jaylen’s journey was far too short, but the love he packed into those years was immense. He was loved deeply, beyond measure, by his mother and father, Cheryl Abas and Jeffrey Hill.
Jaylen lived a beautiful life in Green Cove Springs, Florida, a place where he grew, laughed, and made the world a brighter place. There are simply no words that can encapsulate the level of love we have for him.
We thank God for the precious 16 years we were blessed to share with Jaylen. May God welcome him into His kingdom, and may His divine peace look over Cheryl, Jeffrey, and all who love him.
Jaylen was beautiful inside, outside, and in every sense of the word BEAUTIFUL.
Jaylen Wade Hill, age 16, from Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away on May 26, 2026. Born on November 16, 2009 to Jeffrey Hill and Cheryl Abas. He will be remembered for his loving personality and his time with friends at Clay High School.
Preceded in death by his grandparents John Wallace Hill, Gloria Ann Hill and Romeo Aldover Abas. Survived by his parents Jeffrey Wade Hill and Cheryl Mae Abas, grandmother Dolores Cardenas Abas, Aunt Cynthia Marie Gause, Uncle David Oran West, Uncle Bryan Lee Abas and cousins Mia Maelynn Abas, Hanna Leigh Gause, Raine Marie Alvarado.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lake Asbury Community Center, 282 Branscomb Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 on Friday June 5, 2026 at 3:00pm to 6:00pm. As well as the memorial service on Saturday June 6th, 2026 at 11:00am, at Russel Haven of Rest 2335 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
