James “Jim” William Hall, 88

James “Jim” William Hall, 88 of Lake Asbury, Florida, devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed peacefully on January 24, 2026.

Jim was predeceased by his parents Clyde and Dorothy Lee Hall, and brothers Eddie and Fred Hall.

Jim survived by his wife of 67 years, Endeka Hall, Sons James “Craig” Hall (Kelley), Kevin Hall (Kari), Grandchildren, Christopher Hall (Suzanne), Victoria Shropshire (Trevor), Grayson Hall, Kinley Hall, Great Grandchildren, Annabelle Barwick and Abigail Shropshire and one sister, June Eldridge.

Jim was born in Deland Florida, graduated from Hillsborough High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school.  Jim honorably served his country for twenty years in the U.S. Navy rising to the rank of Senior Chief retiring in 1976.   Jim worked for ATT for the next 20 years, before retiring once again to pursue a beloved hobby — the restoration of classic MGs and the care and keeping of riding “classic” roads.  Jim was known to have many MGs on premise in various stages of restoration as well as a few ‘hidden away”.  He was a fisherman, a builder, and a servant leader in his church.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Orange Park on Wednesday, January 28, from 10 am to 11 am, with a Celebration of Life directly following from 11 am to noon.

Graveside services will be Friday, January 30, at 10:30 am, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL  32218

Funeral services are under the direction of Jeff Gaver with Russell Haven of Rest (rhrfh.com).  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the First Baptist Orange Park Youth Scholarship Fund.  First Baptist Church
