Joann Evans Coleman, 79, of Fleming Island, FL, was received by her loving savior October 3, 2025.  She was born on November 28, 1945 in Dublin, GA to the late Teford and Ruby Evans.  She loved God’s Word and loved hearing it proclaimed and strived to live out her faith every day.  She was a member of Community Bible Church Orange Park, Florida for over 25 years.

Joann enjoyed playing pickleball with all her friends for many years at Ortega Methodist Church.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents, Teford and Ruby Evans; brother, David Evans; and her sister, Ellen Bailey.

Joann is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Reggie; daughter, Angie Stokes (Dennis) of Johnson City, TN; son, Scott Coleman (Cathy) of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Patsy Braswell of Dublin, GA; six grandchildren, Kevin Stokes (Tiffany), Emily Pancake (Michael) of Johnson City, TN, Haley York (Cameron) of Jacksonville, FL, Sydnee Croghan (Brian) of Yulee, FL, Zane Coleman and Laci Coleman of Jacksonville, FL; as well as four great grandchildren, Sophie Stokes, Michael Stokes, Brandon Croghan and Luke York.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00am, 505 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL 32073.
