Katrina Kapow, 21

Katrina Kapow (born Kyle Padayhag), 21, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away on September 19, 2025. Born in 2004 in Davao City, Philippines, Katrina was the beloved daughter of Michael and Ethel P. Warnez-Ponton.

She was a bright and ambitious young woman who was pursuing her dream of becoming a pilot at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Outside of her studies, Katrina had a passion for playing guitar and PC gaming, and she brought creativity and joy to everything she did. Katrina had a vibrant, unforgettable presence and a bright future.

Her family is heartbroken by her loss but deeply grateful for the time they shared with her, filled with karaoke nights, holiday celebrations, and everyday laughter. Katrina lit up every room she entered and touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her loving parents, Michael and Ethel; her cherished siblings, Gavin and Kyleigh; her close cousins, Alyssa Noelle Garcia and Jaiden Lei Garcia; and her devoted aunt, Yvonne P. Garcia. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

The Warnez-Ponton family asks for privacy during this time as they grieve and begin the difficult journey of healing.
