Patricia Smith DeLoach, 76

Patricia “Pat” Smith DeLoach, 76, of Middleburg, Florida, passed away on September 30, 2025. Born December 5, 1948, in Charleston, South Carolina, a daughter of L. Vivian Dantzler Smith Fields and J. Floyd Smith, and stepdaughter of Richard H. Fields.
Her funeral will be on Monday, October 6th, 2025, in the chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home, Green Cove Springs. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service begins at 11:00 am. Flowers will be accepted, Reception to follow at the family home. Pat lived a life defined by resilience, strength, and an unwavering kindness that touched every person she met.
She worked in South Carolina managing properties for Arthur Ravenel and retired in Florida from Office Management with Drs. Abshire & Hoffman. Pat was a transplant recipient and used her experience as a ministry to others. Offering comfort to those facing the same uncertainty. Pat enjoyed swimming, playing games like dominoes with her grandchildren, reading, and creating crafts from her travels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Vivian “Polly” Smith, and brother Cecil “Bubba” Smith. She was survived by her beloved husband Carl DeLoach, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage, a union marked by devotion and joy. Pat was a loving mother to Ricky DeLoach and wife Lori, and Katie Rios and husband Alvaro, a cherished sister to Sherry Wright and husband Leo, a caring grandmother to her many grandchildren, and is remembered with love by her extended family and church family of First Baptist Church of Middleburg
