Cody James Maskee, 35
Cody James Maskee, 35, of Fleming Island, FL passed away Monday, August 11, 2025. Cody was born in Jacksonville, FL and graduated from Fleming Island High School. He was employed with
Premier Surface Design of Green Cove Springs where he was passionate about his many years of working with granite.
Cody always enjoyed his family and friends and was the “life of the party”. He enjoyed engaging in political banter and listening to good music. His life could also be as simple as a drive down a dirt road or out on the water riding a jet ski. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and his dog “Broly”.
Cody is survived by his parents, Marc and Julie Maskee, sister, Amanda (Anthony) Maskee, grandparents, Daniel and Margaret Garey, and his close friend, Curtis Potter.
A Celebration of Cody’s life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2025 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home. The time of visiting with family will begin at 10:30 AM prior to services.
